Guillermo Arriaga (Writer)   

Writer Guillermo Arriaga, who was born and raised in Mexico City, wrote the screenplays for 21 Grams and Amores Perros, and served as associate producer on both films.
Arriaga also recently wrote and acted in Tommy Lee Jone's feature film directorial debut, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, for which he won the Golden Palm for best screenplay in Cannes in 2005. Most recently, he completed the screenplay for and produced the upcoming film, El Bufalo De La Noche.
